New Features

Configuring Digital Inputs for Dry Contact Closure:

The Dry Contact Closure (DCC/CC) device allows users to modify the behavior of lights fixtures when an input port is activated. This device accepts digital inputs, and each input can be programmed to perform a specific action.

In scenarios where there are multi-purpose rooms with movable partition walls in a school building or conference facility, a third-party partition sensor activates the DCC input. This action triggers the "Combine the Switch Groups" to provide a uniform light control for the multi-purpose room.

Refer to the Configuration Guide for Connecting a Barix Dry Contact Closure with Edge and On-Prem Manage/EMC for installing and configuring the Barix Dry Contact Closure device with an on-prem Manage/EMC system.

IBM Agent for Streaming Data to IBM Cloud Endpoint

The IBM Agent allows the streaming of the sensor’s Gateway Telemetry and Manage Contextual data to the IBM Cloud endpoint. This data flow is through the MQTT Broker with the Enlighted Edge Gateway. IBM will utilize this data stream in the Tririga Building Insights analytics suite for advanced analysis.
