Overview
The Enlighted Edge Gateway consists of the Enlighted Edge software hosted on the Siemens Connect X300 embedded computer, which is installed in the building utilizing the Enlighted System. The Enlighted Edge is an optional component to the Enlighted System. The Enlighted Edge software facilitates low latency (near real-time) lighting control inputs from third-party systems and enhances the Enlighted System functionality. The Enlighted Edge software allows access to the data from the Enlighted system to on-premises building management systems (BMS) to improve the energy efficiency of the building.
There are several benefits for adopting the Enlighted Edge Gateway:

Improved Energy Efficiency: Optimized HVAC Control – By leveraging access to the Enlighted system data, the Enlighted Edge allows for optimal HVAC integration, leading to improved HVAC efficiency and cost savings.

Smart Building Integrations:
- The Enlighted Edge Gateway enables customers to utilize Building Analytics offerings utilizing Edge Agents to provide Enlighted system data to third-party Building Analytics software applications
- MQTT Data Stream: Utilize MQTT topics to provide Enlighted system telemetry and contextual data to the MQTT Broker and allow the Edge Agents to stream that data into customer’s data collection servers or cloud repositories
- Allows low latency lighting control inputs from third-party systems
- Future access for on-premises Manage installations to cloud-based Blue GPS site for the Location Intelligence Application
