Add and Manage Fixtures

A variety of ballasts and bulbs are available in the market. The fixture database maintains and tracks the most complete, up-to-date, manufacturer-specific information. The database is organized into three categories:

1. Ballasts: Add a Ballast
2. Bulbs: Add a Bulb
3. Fixture Type: Add a Fixture Type.

For adding any type of fixture, navigate to Administration-> System Management ->Fixture Type Management. The following screen appears with a list of fixture types allowing you to add or manage the various fixture types. When the Show Used Ballasts box is checked, the list of ballasts at the selected facility is displayed.

Adding a Ballast

To add a ballast,

1. Navigate to Administration-> System Management -> Fixture Type Management.
2. Select the Ballast tab, followed by the Add button.
3. In the New Ballast window, the Item Number field is left blank. The system automatically generates this.
4. Type the ballast details and click Add to save the information in the database.

Adding a Bulb

Likewise, to add a bulb,

1. Navigate to Administration-> System Management -> Fixture Type Management.
2. Select the Bulb tab, followed by the Add button.
3. Refer to the bulb specifications and type the bulb details.
4. Click Add to save the information in the database.
