Every Plugload Controller (PLC) needs to be upgraded to v3.1.
Please download the latest Plugload firmware image (0000_v3_1_1_pl.bin) file and then add the firmware image to Manage. Follow the instructions in Firmware Image Upgrade for Sensors, Gateways, and Plugloads to upgrade the PLC.
New Features
Astro Clock: Allows the device to modify the time-of-day schedule so that the Day period starts at a time near sunrise, or the Evening period starts closer to sunset time. This feature requires Manage v4.9 or higher for creating a Plugload Profile with Astro Clock.
Enhancements
- Updated the trim value on the PLC firmware and tweaked the crystal oscillator frequency.
- This release supports all PLC product codes: model PC-01-20 and new model PC-02-20. PCB boards based on manufacturing data flashed to the device at the factory. This feature requires Manage release v4.9 or higher for new model device discovery and commissioning.
- New Plugload controller v2 for EU and NA. New PCB needed for EU certification. Hardware change does not directly require any firmware code change.
Supported Upgrade Paths
Upgrade to this version from any previously released Plugload controller firmware version.
Please note that no automatic upgrade feature is supported for this device by the Manage Firmware Compatibility XML file, which is available only for sensors.
