Users can create button templates and apply them when creating a Switch Group. This approach saves time and helps users customize lighting preferences by mapping long or short press actions to Any Button Any Function on third-party switches, such as EnOcean and Illumra. This feature will be supported in a future release of Enlighted ERCs.
For example, a conference room may need brighter light when someone enters the room and presses the light switch. The user can customize button 1 to turn lights on to maximum scene level when short pressed.
Default Template
You can only program the first four buttons. Buttons 5 through 8 are disabled and Not Assigned, so any actions do NOT work on these buttons.
The following switch short and long press actions are available to be programmed to any button on the Switch.
Short Press (Press and release)
-
Turn Lights on to Max Scene Level — The lights will turn on to the scene's maximum light level. For instance, if the user specifies a max. 65% of the light level for fixtures, the lights will automatically turn on and stay at 65%.
- Turn Lights Off — Turns off the lights, and brightness will be set to 0.
- Select Scene Number — This allows the user to select any scene from the list of stored scenes.
- Set CCT to Max Level — Raises the CCT to its maximum level (cooler); applicable only for Tunable White fixtures.
- Set CCT to Min Level — Reduces the CCT to a minimum level (warmer); applicable only for Tunable White fixtures.
- Rotate to the Next Scene — Changes to the next scene.
- Return to Auto Profile — Returns the lights to their current profile settings.
- Toggle ON/OFF — The fixture reverses its state. If ON goes to OFF and vice versa.
- No operation - This action assigns no action to a press.
Long Press (Press and hold for 2-3 sec)
- Dim lights up — Increases the light level gradually.
- Dim lights down — Dims the light level gradually.
