The Gateways are automatically discovered and added when the DHCP server provides their IP addresses. See Assigning Network IP Addresses (for on-premise Manage) to enable the DHCP server to provide the Gateways' IP addresses.
To discover Gateways on a floor.
- Select the floor in the Facilities navigation tree.
- Click the Devices tab.
- Click Gateways.
- Click the Discover button.
Manage discovers Gateways that have been provided with IP addresses but have not yet been commissioned and adds them to the Gateway table.
The discovered Gateways are shown in the Gateway table. To commission a Gateway, refer to the article Commissioning Gateways.
