1.        Overview

The Enlighted Manage is available as a cloud-based software or on-premises server. It performs analysis and provides visual reporting of Enlighted sensors and other devices. In addition, it provides a collection point for energy, occupancy, and environmental data captured by Enlighted Sensors to optimize building system performance. Manage provides a secure web-based interface to monitor, control, and analyze energy savings and other data collected by the Enlighted Smart Sensor network.

The System Health report shows the system’s overall health for the Manage server, including hardware components installed and customer information. Specifically, it will include the current Manage version, the number of devices, and how many floors are in the system. It provides diagnostic information on the status of Enlighted devices, recommending devices that require a firmware upgrade, detecting failed components, and the time to repair or service the network or failed devices.

This report is available only to customers with a Priority or Priority Plus package.

2.        Generate System Health Report

To generate a System Health Report,

  • Click on the Reports > System Health
  • Click Download to save the report in Excel. The file is password-protected, and users cannot open or view the contents. Then, send the downloaded file to Enlighted Support. The Support Team will analyze and customize the report with a mix of customer service reporting metrics and analytics and send it back to you.

3.        General Information

The chart shows the customers and their addresses, along with the date of this report. The customer address shown is from the customer information on file. Also, the chart shows the total number of Enlighted hardware devices by device type installed.

Time to Repair – This is the standard time it takes to bring a Gateway or a Sensor online or to replace an ERC (Enlighted Room Controller) battery.

Offline – The device will be considered offline if it is not connected to the network or cannot communicate with other devices in the Enlighted IoT network.

4.        Offline Devices

The chart shows the number of offline devices and ERCs. If an ERC is offline, it may be due to the battery level.

Offline When a device is not connected to the network or is unable to communicate with other devices in the IoT network, it is offline. Devices like Gateway, Sensors and Plugload Controller would show offline.

ERC Battery Level – Can be Unknown, Low, or Critical and should be investigated.

Time to repair – This is the total time to repair the number of devices listed. Based on the number of devices that are offline multiplied by the amount of time it takes to repair each type of device. The time to repair each type of device is listed in the General Information section.

5.        Upgrade Firmware on Devices

The chart shows the devices that are not on the latest Enlighted firmware and need to be upgraded. The latest firmware release will include the most recent security patches, features, and enhancements.

The chart shows the number of each device type and the total hours required for a device type to perform upgrades.

Follow the instructions in Firmware Image Upgrade for Sensors, Gateways, and Plugloads

Follow the instructions in Manual Image Upgrade for ERC’s.

6.        Other Critical Factors

The chart shows the number of devices on the default channel 4. These devices need to be moved to a different channel.

For instructions on how to move a device to a new channel, please reference Commissioning Gateways, Radio Channel ID section.

7.        Project Summary

The chart shows the hours needed to bring devices online, perform device upgrades and resolve critical factors.

Offline Devices – Total time to bring all offline devices online.

Device Upgrades – Total time to upgrade devices to the latest firmware version, which provides the latest security, patches, features, and enhancements.

Critical Factors – Time to move devices currently on channel 4 to a different channel.

8.        Time to Complete

The chart gives a graphical representation of the total hours needed to bring devices online, perform device upgrades and resolve critical factors. See the Project Summary chart for detailed hours.

Offline Devices – Total time to bring all offline devices online.

Device Upgrades – Total time to upgrade devices to the latest firmware version, which provides the latest security, patches, features, and enhancements.

Critical Factors – Time to move devices currently on channel 4 to a different channel.

9.        Sensor Type Vs. Firmware (FW)

The chart shows the number of sensors for a Sensor Type or on a particular firmware version.

For a list of firmware releases, refer to https://support.enlightedinc.com/help/s/topic/0TO3o000001dGIvGAM/gen-5-sensor-firmware-releases.

10.     Enlighted Room Control (ERC) Battery

The chart shows the number of devices with low, normal, and unknown battery statuses.

Low Battery - An ERC with a low battery level indicates it requires a new battery.

Unknown Status - An ERC with an unknown status needs to be investigated.

11.     Gateway Firmware (GW FW) Vs. Channel

The chart shows the number of GWs Vs. different wireless channels and their firmware versions.

12.     Gateway Outage

The chart shows locations with a gateway outage and the number of gateways (GW) out for each location.

13.     Plugloads

The chart shows the number of Plugloads per floor discovered and commissioned.

14.     License

The chart shows when licenses expire. Specifically, the number and type of license that will expire on the dates listed. Please note that the dates can be passed or future.
