View Motion Group

Users can easily and quickly set up an Enlighted lighting system using the Motion Group feature to detect occupancy. When one or more sensors in a room are grouped together into a Motion Group, the occupancy detection is communicated to all fixtures when an occupant enters the room. The fixtures will react and adjust their light levels according to their configuration in their profile.

To create a Motion Group, refer to the Create Motion Group article.

After the Motion Groups are created, you can see all the Motion Groups on the Floor Plan. Each Motion Group is grouped by color on the Floor Plan to identify sensors belonging to a group quickly.  The information Legend displays the list of devices and their corresponding icons.

  1. Select a floor in the Facilities left panel.
  2. Select the Floor Plan tab.
  3. In the View drop-down list, select Motion Group.
All Motion Groups created on the floor plan are displayed. Sensors belonging to a group are associated with a color. For example, all sensors in blue color belong to the Switch Group North_Open_office.
  4. Click on 'i' to open the Legend to identify the device type.
